Football and Standardized Work

Many people remember the incredible interception Malcolm Butler made on the goal line of Super Bowl XLIX that returned possession to the Patriots, which helped them maintain their 28-24 lead with 20 seconds to go, and ultimately won the game.

“I knew they were going to throw it,” Butler said. “From preparation, I remembered the formation they were in and I knew they were doing a pick route. I just beat him to the route and made the play.”

He changed the outcome because he followed the play. He went where he was supposed to go, and the ball was there.

We thought this video was radical and couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

HubSpot co-founders, Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah share recent lessons learned and research on how to grow bigger and better in the modern age -- live at #INBOUND18.
